As a son of the soil, my childhood experiences in our constituency inspired me to serve our people. From an early age, I was very aware of the struggle that families across our communities face. By the age of 9, I was already hawking amala and rice to support my parents’ livelihood. Despite their own struggles, I saw them regularly supporting other families in our community. These experiences led to my determination to play an active role in developing a safe, secure and prosperous constituency.
I went on to study and earn master’s degree in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution after first degree in Sociology, then served meritoriously for more than 15 years in the Nigerian police Force until my voluntary retirement at the rank of Superintendent of Police in 2017. During my tour of duty in the Police, I held various leadership roles including Security Aide to the late Governor of Yobe State; Chief Security Officer to the Governor of the Federartion (SGF).
Upon my retirement, I founded FUNAB Project Nigerian Ltd which specialises in construction, building and civil enginerring services. I also set up the MAI Foundation , through which we have been contributing to the economic and social wellbeing of our people.
In 2019, I was called back to serve and was appointed the Chief Security Officer to the PDP Presidential Campaign Council for the 2019 Presidential Election.
My extentive experience within the private and public sector, and particularly the Government, has equipped me with a solid understanding of how government works and how to effectively navigate its complex systems. In our country, a strong network of extensive contracts with individuals and institutions of the government are unquantifiable assets for any constituency.
I promise to bring all relevant connections, resources and opportunities possible to give Asa/Ilorin West Federal Constituency a responsible and effective representation in the House of Representatives, by the special Grace of Almighty Allah.

My mission is to give the good people of Asa/Ilorin West Federal Constituency a responsible and effective representation in the Green Chamber.
Growing up in this Constituency, I have seen our monthers and fathers struggle to feed their families everyday. It saddens me to see the desperation and fear in the eyes of our youth about what tomorrow holds for them.
What our people need is basic support from Government that will empower them to fend for themselves.
My commitment is to deply my Public and Private Sector experience and networks with people and institutions acorss all levels of Government to attract projects, amenities, and programmes that will create a better life for our people in this Constituency and beyond.
